Winter / Spring Sports Banquet

Lady Horns Golf Team Takes 3rd at Falconhead

The varsity girls golf team battled a strong south wind and a strong tournament field at the Turner Tournament.  The ladies placed 3rd behind Durant (2nd) and Marlow (1st).  Their next tournament will be at the Lake Country COnference Tournament hosted by Falconhead Country Club.

Lone Grove JH Girls Win Kingston Tournament

The Lone Grove JH girls golf team ended their season CHAMPIONS!  The girls had a great season.  They finished the year bringing home hardware from every tournament they entered (Tishomingo 1st, Turner 2nd, Lone Grove 1st, Kingston 1st).  Great job, Lady Longhorns!

Lone Grove JH Boys Runner-Up at Plainview Tournament

The Lone Grove JH boys golf team came up nine strokes short of beating Duncan to take home the championship in the Plainview Tournament Wednesday.  The Longhorns did, however, shoot their lowest score of the season with a 345.  They were led by Brody Newton’s 83, followed by Bliss Newton (85), Landon Howell (85), Mason
